It is not uncommon to find a group of teenagers at a shopping mall using digital video recording to record some stunt they have played on a member of their group, or to show someone else what they bought that day.

There are some cameras which may not be able store too much of data, depending on how much internal memory the camera has, and if it can use memory cards. This can be a big advantage, as it would mean it takes up much less space, and can be much less complicated.
